Lenny Salas Moreno is a design educator, art director and graphic designer based in Miami, FL. She is a Full Lecturer of Graphic Design at the University of Miami. Lenny received her B.F.A from New World School of the Arts and her M.F.A. from Florida Atlantic University. She has over 15 years of professional experience working in the field of graphic design and art direction. Lenny’s academic research reflects on concepts of materiality, memory and social identity as more people continue to accumulate larger collections of digital content. Her personal work explores emerging socio-cultural practices, new technology, and how graphic design can create more tactile and emotional responses in a pervasive digital environment.
